Kindergarten Orientation for 2023 (2024 enrolment)
We welcome you and your child to Ballimore Public School. We understand that a child's first year at school is an important one and the school works closely with families, local pre-schools and child care centres to ensure a smooth transition to school.
We offer a series of transition to school events to prepare children for starting school.
Our ‘Transition to Schools Program’ enables your child to get a feel of a real school day. Students enrolled for 2024 will come to school and participate in typical Kindergarten learning experiences and become familiar with our school environments. This time also allows for our teaching staff to gather information about your child’s learning and social needs.
Kindergarten Orientation Sessions
A series of orientation sessons will be held for students during Term 4. During these sessions our new Kindergarten students will participate in classroom activities with our current Kindergarten students.
