NAIDOC Day

The theme this year for NAIDOC Week is ‘Voice Treaty Truth. Let’s work together for a shared future’. We are celebrating NAIDOC Week this Friday 5 July, 2019. AECG Wiradjuri Language Tutors Anthony Riley, Brain AhSee and Darren Forbes will working with the students on an Aboriginal dancing, games and storytelling.

Again this year, we will be having a “taster BBQ” of some unique treats on the BBQ. Students are welcome to try some of the different “BBQ treats” as well as order a sausage sandwich meal deal for lunch. Family and friends are very welcome to join us on the day. The activities and workshops are planned to begin at 9:30am and lunch will be at 1pm. Following lunch will be sport including both students and family members. Goolma PS will also be joining us for the day. Option: Dress in NAIDOC colours for a gold coin donation.
