What a terrific afternoon we had last Thursday at the Term 2 Assembly. It was great to see so many families and friends were able to be part of the celebration of student work and achievement. Congratulations to the recipients of the Term 2 Achievement Awards – Hayley, Halley, Chloe and Dallas. Don’t forget to check out the school’s Facebook page for more photos. There is even a video of the students singing “Morningtown Ride”!
K/1/2 Performance in Dubbo This morning the Infant students attended the performance of Tuishi Pamoja – Friendship under African Skies performed by the Youth Music Theatre group.

- Hunter: At the assembly the students sang to the parents. I enjoyed the assembly because I got to read out my story, ‘Oops Caught’ to my mum and my baby sister.
- Rachael: The robotics was cool because I could control the spheros by using the iPad.
- Hayley: With the Ozobots we correographed a dance for the Ozobots using an ‘app’ which was called OzoGroove.
- Juanita: Last Friday our school participated in a robotics workshop. The activities we did were with Ozobots and coding Spheros to move in a square. At the end of the day we used the coding program called Scratch.
Ashleigh: The Eco-Schools day involved making long and short term plans for our school’s ‘Healthy Lifestyles Program’. We brain stormed barriers and actions for our project.
